Hi, I'm Claire - the sole owner of Darling Doodles. In the photo above is my partner Michael who is a hard working groundworker and our daughter Lydia. 

We got our first labradoodle Holly in 2013, Father Christmas sent her to us on Christmas Eve ( my daughter will be reading this!) Holly brightened up our Christmas as we had just lost our Nan to dementia a few days before so it eased the pain for us focusing on Holly while not forgetting our Nan. As time went on, Holly blossomed into a beautiful girl with an amazing personality and a real outgoing dog. Holly was always so respectable around our horses and loved being apart of our horsey life, we only had to say we are popping up the yard and she would be at the front door waiting to jump into the car. We decided to breed Holly to carry on her wonderful temperament and when her puppies arrived, we just fell in love with her even more as she become the doting wonderful mum, even to this day, she still cleans her babies that live with us - Alfie (from her first litter) and Maggie (from her last litter). When it come to Holly having her last litter, I become upset that this would be my last at producing well rounded quality puppies for family's and this is when Darling Doodles happened. 

For the last 20 years I had been working as an accountant, for accountancy practices and individual business's so with Holly's last litter approaching and no longer enjoying my accountancy work anymore, it was the right time to leave all that behind and to carry on doing what I love, surrounding myself around dogs and puppies! And thats how it all started.

Over the years, I have formed some great friendships with my puppy families and its great when they stay in touch and I get sent updates and read such wonderful stories and see how much joy their puppy brings to their family and we look forward to welcoming new family's into our lives with our puppies.
